The Spring Garden Festival Committee is made up of representatives from the Gainesville Garden Club, Inc.; the Frontrunners Chapter of the Florida Nursery, Growers, and Landscaper Association; and a group of community volunteers called "The Independents." The Committee works in conjunction with the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens staff and it’s volunteers to plan and present the Festival each year.

Certain events and activities are operated by one of the three organizations that produce the Spring Garden Festival.  Other portions are the event are a collaborative effort.  All three groups share the proceeds from the booth rental and the Silent Auction.  Over the last 19 years, these organizations have used the proceeds from the Spring Garden Festival to support beautifications projects in the area and have contributed significantly to improvements to the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens.
